Meet the Team

Emily Auger BVetMed(Hons) MRCVS [OV] - Veterinary Surgeon

Emily graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2010 after receiving first prize in her final three years of the course. She then spent three years in small animal practice in both Nottinghamshire and Hertford before joining the Goddard Veterinary Group at the Mile End branch in October 2013.

Emily is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine and finds ophthalmology cases particularly rewarding. Emily was delighted to be nominated for Petplan's Vet of the Year Award in 2015 and Mile End was nominated for Practice of the Year in 2015.  Emily is also an Official Veterinarian [OV] which enables us to complete Pet Passports and other export paperwork for our jet setting patients.

Emily owns three cats called Bitsy, (naughty) Nigella and Barnaby, as well as a cheeky little rescue dog called Penny who occasionally visits the practice.  Away from work Emily is a part-time mum to Velvet, her beautiful horse.

Louise Groot BVSc MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon

Louise graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2009 and then spent four years travelling the world as a Veterinary Officer in the British Army.  She joined the Goddard Group in 2014, initially working at the Wanstead Hospital and transferring to the Mile End surgery in 2016.  Louise loves getting to know pets and their owners and following their veterinary care throughout their lives.  She has two kittens of her own and so understands the bond created and the care our pets need.  Louise has a special interest in medicine and recently gained a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.  Outside of work Louise loves cycling and playing with her kittens.


Catherine Greenough - Head Nurse, Registered Veterinary Nurse

Catherine joined the team at Mile End in 2017 having qualified as an RVN in 2015. Catherine had previously studied fashion design and worked as a seamstress in a bridal shop but decided on a change of career after completing voluntary work in Namibia, Africa and Bolivia working mainly with big cats.  Since qualifying she has worked in India for another charity who help ex-dancing bears and elephants.  Catherine has an active interest in conservation.  Outside of work Catherine loves to run and to travel as well as playing on a tag rugby team.

Ipek Osman - Student Veterinary Nurse

Ipek joined the team at Mile End in 2012.  She is currently training to be a veterinary nurse and has always known she wanted to work with animals since a very young age.  Ipek has been a volunteer puppy walker for the Guide Dogs Association and worked on her uncle's farm in Cyprus.  Ipek gained the Veterinary  Care Assistant (VCA) qualification in 2015, passing with Distinction .  Ipek is very excited about starting her veterinary nurse training and is looking forward to becoming a qualified RVN in 2018.  She is the extremely proud owner of a black Labrador Retriever called Jinny


Chloe Banks - Trainee Veterinary Care Assistant

From a very young age Chloe always wanted to work with animals.  In 2014 Chloe joined the team at Mile End leaving behind the world of media to pursue her dream of becoming a Veterinary Nurse and she began the Veterinary Care Assistant course in 2015.  Chloe is the very proud owner of Peanut and Arthur, two very entertaining little Terriers.

Dusica Yurick -  Nursing Assistant

Dusica has been with the Goddard Group since 2014, firstly volunteering before she joined the team at Mile End on a permanent basis in 2016.  From an early age Dusica spent almost all of her free time helping with the animals at her grandfather's hobby farm back in Serbia.  She has a degree in psychology and previously worked in journalism and market research before deciding to get back to what was always her dream career - working in the veterinary industry.  Dusica is the extremely proud owner of a little rescue family - Mercury the shy black cat,  Medea the naughty kitten and the beautiful staffie Sasha.
